Developed in partnership with VIC Properties, the project has been created around strict sustainability and design principles, bringing together hospitality, wellness and environmental responsibility. Opening in 2028, the resort will introduce a new interpretation of mindful luxury through a combination of hotel accommodations, branded residences and immersive experiences. Rather than imposing a strong visual identity, the design follows the rhythm of the land, blending into pine forests, sand dunes and lakes. The resort will feature 70 accommodations, including 66 guest rooms and suites, three garden villas and one presidential villa. Each space has been carefully positioned to maximize natural light, ventilation and views, creating a seamless relationship between indoor and outdoor living. The biophilic design philosophy continues throughout the project, with natural materials, organic textures and sustainable construction principles shaping the interiors. The architecture celebrates the idea that luxury does not need to be excessive: instead, it can be expressed through harmony, authenticity and a deep respect for place.

The accommodation experience at Six Senses Comporta combines the intimacy of a boutique retreat with the space and privacy of a residential community. The hotel’s 66 rooms and suites will be located within the main building, with interconnected options designed for families and larger groups. Three garden villas and a presidential villa complete the hotel offering, bringing a total of 70 keys. Alongside the hotel, 58 branded residences will offer another way to experience the destination. Ranging from two to five bedroom villas and apartments, the residences are inspired by their natural surroundings, including Forest, Sand Dune and Lake settings. Each category reflects a different relationship with the landscape while incorporating Six Senses wellness principles. The residences will feature dedicated owners’ spaces and access to hotel amenities, creating a community atmosphere while preserving privacy and exclusivity.

A Culinary Experience Rooted in the Alentejo

Dining at Six Senses Comporta will celebrate the flavors of Portugal through a farm-to-table philosophy inspired by the brand’s Eat With Six Senses approach. Seasonal ingredients, local producers and the resort’s own vegetable garden will shape menus focused on simplicity, freshness and sustainability. The main restaurant will serve as a gathering place for guests, residents and the local community, while additional concepts will include a pool bar and grill, a wine bar showcasing regional producers, and a deli café offering fresh products for beach and poolside moments. The Chef’s Table, located within the vegetable garden, will create intimate culinary experiences, workshops and events celebrating local ingredients and traditional Portuguese flavors.
